My wife bought me this book a few months ago but was just now able to read it.

Making History: The Struggle for Gay and Lesbian Equal Rights (1945-1990)
http://www.ericmarcus.com/content/bookdetail.php?recordID=3

It's a fantastic read thus far (I'm about halfway done) - there's so much history that goes unnoticed and to think that the movement started in the 1940s, not the 70s!!!

If you can get a copy of this for your campus library, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Perhaps a future post will be a book review once I'm finished. :)
