Each year, exceptional programs are presented during the Annual Conference. Program Awards are presented to recogonize the best programs.

The Region's Best Award

The Region's Best Award provides incentive for quality programs and recognizes superior presenters who are not eligible for the Best Presentation by a New Professional. The chosen Region’s Best Program will be submitted to be presented at the next ACUHO-I Conference as "MACUHO’s Region’s Best” The ACUHO-I Foundation will contribute a scholarship to be used towards registration, transportation, and room costs for the primary presenter to attend and present at the ACUHO-I conference. MACUHO will provide an additional $100 if needed. The winner/s also receives a plaque. | Award Criteria

The Best Presentation by a New Professional Award

The Best Presentation by a New Professional Award (formerly PPIA) is given to an outstanding new professional who has not presented at a regional or national conference (excluding Student Staff, or RD/Live-In conferences). The recipient of this award will receive registration to attend the following year’s MACUHO Annual conference. In addition, the recipient will be presented with a $100 check to be used for Professional Development, and a plaque. | Award Criteria
